поведала о традиционном австралийском завтраке
рассказала о тяготах общения с родными, которые в 17-три часовых поясах от неё
Это был удивительно позитивный урок. Мы очень любим нашу Ally, а теперь и наши студенты разделяют наши чувства!

We were lucky enough to be visited by our dear friend Ally, the one we know from, surprise-surprise, Exeter College of the University of Oxford.
As an American living in Australia Ally
told us about the similarities and differences between the 2 cultures;
taught us some Australian slang;
spilled the beans about the traditional Australian breakfast;
shared the difficulty of keeping in touch with relatives living 17 time zones away from her
It was an incredibly positive lesson. We love Ally dearly and now our students share that feelings as well)
